In these turbulent and upending times, we see our shadows manifest in errant violences, splittings of governments into extreme opposites, and in hovering collective anxieties. I will focus on the shadows of the Shadow in the increasingly porous seam between personal and collective life, the hinge in our shadow that drops us into the bad, our dependence on each other through our inferior function that imposes the sacrifice of our 'ruling principle,' and way down inside at the bottom, our finding the Shadow's core shadow: veneration.
