This joint presentation is to discuss calamity as an archetype evoked in a time of contagion and how we can make conscious of the shadow and deal with fears accompanying pandemics.
We will explore how the calamity as an archetype n both Western and Asian cultures. Furthermore, we will find the psychic meaning of the archetype of calamity itself in order to understand the impact of its unconscious structure upon the social organization of healing and collective consciousness in China during the recent COVID epidemic, followed by the study based on the clinical dreams collected in China during the epidemic.
